It is so hard to sometimes get clients to come see me. Not because I am not good at what I do, but because there is usually great fear surrounding just thinking about the traumatic event.
Most times people that have experienced something difficult or downright ugly, avoid getting help because even just thinking about it sends them into panic and anxiety. They are afraid of the feelings that will arise when dealing with the trauma. Therefore, avoidance becomes the #1 plan versus doing something about it. But avoidance keeps them stuck in the chaos.
In this video I use divorce (and divorce can be traumatizing for some) as an example to run you through a Tapping script on how to prepare yourself to actually deal with the trauma. Because really, life is way to short to continue feeling the way you do.
